About Us...
A Service Company
Two Cycle Technology, Inc. began as an engine service company
specializing in the blueprinting, rebuilding and servicing of two cycle kart
racing engines. We currently have two dynos, one for breaking in engines and one
computerized dyno for testing. We offer scaling of karts as well as lazer
alignments of the kart at our shop. We offer trackside assistance at club races
at Road America Kart Club, Badger Kart Club as well as select Midwest Sprint
Series, Route 66 and WKA Manufactures Cup Races.
History
Scott began his career in the auto racing industry at the very young age
of 11. He began by sweeping the floors at a shop that later became Behling
Racing Equipment. As time passed he moved up to being the crew chief. His love
of open wheel racing led him away for a couple of years to wrench on midgets.
There he learned how to race on a budget and make parts last. After getting
married he was encouraged to settle down and not travel so much. This is where
he found karting. It didn't take Scott long to become frustrated with engine
builders. Having a day job as a machinist led him to building his own engines
and that of some friends. In 1995 Scott and his wife Barb purchased Two Cycle
Technology, Inc. which was located in Appleton, Wisconsin. the business was
moved to Hubertus Wisconsin where it resides today. Parts sales where added and
it became a full service kart shop.
Future Goals
Never being satisfied we would like to become your "source for karting
speed." We will always make the customer our first priority. Without you
we will not succeed. Customer support will always be important. We will offer
trackside support not only for our customers but to help grow karting as we feel
this is truly a great family sport.
